Scientific Production Enterprise "Eco-Sapropel" is established by directive body of Republic of Belarus 1991 to introduce the newest researches into the production of Pelosilts which are ecologically clean organic freshwater sediments, to develop preparation technologies of extracts and medicines on their basis for the medical and veterinary purposes. Having the license, since 1991 Scientific Production Enterprise "Eco-Sapropel" produces Pelosilts extraction, prepares Pelosilts curative muds (organic content 70-90%) and delivers them in clinics, hospitals, special medical centers, sanatoriums, for treatment of diseases of locomotor apparatus, peripheral nervous system, alimentary canal, men's potency, atocia, of gynecological, stomatological diseases. Scientific Production Enterprise "Eco-Sapropel" delivers Pelosilts as ingredient for cosmetic companies from Belarus, Russia, USA and France. Besides since 1984, Pelosilts are allowed by Pharmacological veterinary committee to use in animal industries as biologically active additives in a forage.

Now "Eco-Sapropel" is a joint venture with foreign investments. The scientific work is headed by CIS leading expert in the field of sapropel curative muds (Pelosilts), Doctor of Chemistry, Master of Pharmacy, member of the organizer committee of International Peat Society on Balneology and Medicine Philip Puntus.

Pelosilts are produced on the technology, developed by us, from the unique ecologically clean deposit - lake Sudobl, where at deposit depth 30 m (6,2 million м3) peloids are presented by three sediment kinds (layers) differing on depth of biochemical decomposition and transformation of initial lake biomass. It allows to prepare Pelosilts for different purpose, to get lipid and humic acid extract with the maximal production output.

The geological stock of organic sediments in lake Sudobl allows to satisfy needs for Pelosilts and for raw material for cosmetic industry (lipid, humic acid, protein extracts etc.) for a long period of time.
